Surgeries may slow us down, but life goes on .... albeit just a little slower for both of us. C is doing better at 3.5 weeks out from having his spine cut open and worked on. His 6 3/4 inch scar is healing very well. I am making sure that he doesn't do anything to hurt himself.
I found a place to get my right shoes lifted. Life goes on post hip surgery, but it will never be at a steady gate. I should not complain. At least I still have a leg, at least I am no wheelchair bound, at least I can still walk ..... just a little slower, just a little more unsteady. Life goes on.
